Day 3 in Prague - Terzo giorno a Praga

The third day outfit is a perfect example of adapting modern pieces to a retro style, in particoular thanks to a vintage hairstyle. I truly love the way women of the past were able to always have perfect hair, I 'm trying to practice to achieve an authentic style in every aspect, included hairs, but on holiday you don't have much time or space to get ready, you know.... Anyway the outfit of the day was pretty simple so I decided to make victory rolls.

Victory rolls are an updo created by women during the WWII period, as a glamourous way to pull their hair back during daily activities and work, and to honor the Air Force (appearing like their aerobatic maneuvers ) and lastly as a kind of support to their men at the front and homage for the victory of the United States. This hairstyle is so full of historical meaning that is impossible not to be fascinated!

As I said , the clothes are modern and simple: I rewore the skirt and the belt of the previous dayw ith a beige sweater and a brooch: I like to collect brooches because they are the bijoux that, besides rings, I prefer to wear. In my small collection I have both vintage and modern pieces, this one is modern because I didn't want to bring on holiday one of my vintage pieces which, if I had accidentally lost, I wouldn't  have been able to replace ...

But moving on, what was I doing in Prague with giant teddy bears? I love toys and cartoons, so Icouldn't  miss a visit to Hamley's, a huge toy store just next to our hotel.
Thus, after we visited the jewish quarter, with its beautiful synagogues including the Pinkasova, adjacent to the mazy jewish cemetery, built in 1535 and today become a symbol and monument in honor to the Moravian and Bohemian Jewish victims of the Holocaust, that day we took a look at
this colorful shop.
In the afternoon we had planned, before our departure, a trip out of Prague in the medieval town of Kutna Hora and in the Bone Chapel in Sedlec, totally made with monks bones.
We didn't miss an opportunity to ask our guide for advice on which places visit in the evening , she recommended  two and of course we visited them both! For dinner we went to the elegant cafe Louvre, where we enjoyed a great dinner and then, after this fine place, we arrived at U Fleku, the historical and typical Prague brewery, there since 1499!
